Omar S and Answer Code Request are among the highlights for the September gathering.
Montreal's La Bacchanale are starting their own festival, taking place for the first time this September 18th through 20th.
La Bacchanale have been hosting parties in Montreal for over a year, bringing artists like Efdemin, Robert Hood and Jeff Mills. Now they're launching their biggest endeavour yet: a weekend-long festival with indoor and outdoor segments with an "Ancient Future" theme.
Before the start of the festival proper, they'll host an "Origins" night at a TBA venue in Montreal on September 6th, which will feature Lil Louis. Moomin, Thomas Melchior and Delano Smith will play the first outdoor Primitive Garden party on the 19th, with Omar S, Octave One and Norm Talley making up the bill for the Detroit-heavy second day. Both take place at Quai de L'horloge in Montreal's Old Port.
At night, the festival moves over to Hangar 16. The first evening's theme is AcidRaveNew World, and Phuture, Eric Cloutier and Extrawelt are all booked, with Answer Code Request, Vril and Pär Grindvik taking the reins for night two's Eastern Alliance.
Tickets to all the events are available on RA.
