Marco Bernardi will join the French selector at the day party in November.
Two Bristol institutions, Motion and Hypercolour, will celebrate their tenth anniversaries with a joint party on Sunday, November 6th.
Laurent Garnier, who put out a record on Hypercolour in 2014, will headline the birthday session at Motion. He'll be joined by Bristol-based DJ Marco Bernardi and Hypercolour label bosses Alex Jones and Cedric Maison, with doors running from 2 PM through 10 PM. Since opening in 2006, Motion has expanded from a nightclub/skate park into a multi-warehouse venue. Hypercolour, which launched in the same year, has a back catalogue of more than 100 releases, as well as a monthly show on East London's NTS Radio.
Motion has also just undergone a £500,000 refit. Aside from the recently announced opening parties, other upcoming events include the Bitch, Please! party on August 13th with Honey Dijon and Spencer Parker, and a bank holiday daytime event on Saturday, August 27th. The lineup for that one is still TBA.
Tickets for Motion are available here on RA.
