- The Italian artist is on deck for the limited edition cassette series, following a release by Dutch producer Ian Martin.
Seattle-based label Further Records is set to release two new editions of their cassette series, this time by Donato Dozzy and Dutch producer Ian Martin.
Though not exactly a conventional release, Dozzy's contribution will in fact be his first full-length. Simply entitled K, the tape comprises nine untitled tracks and clocks in at just over 55 minutes. In terms of style, K sounds most similar to 2009's Snakes at Number 2, his collaborative EP with Lerosa, another Further Records alumnus. Given Dozzy's growing renown in the world of heady techno, these 100 tapes are sure to disappear fast.
Slated for release next week, Ian Martin's Intensions is an ambient album in the style of Klaus Schulze or Tangerine Dream. It's the Rotterdam-based artist's third full-length in two years, following releases on two of the Hague's best underground labels: Strange Life and Bunker Records. This one has already completely sold out on cassette via pre-order, but Further have fortunately made it available on CD-r also.
