- Sydney-based duo Canyons will headline the free party's inaugural bash this weekend.
New Sydney club night High & Dry is set to kick off this Saturday at Water Bar.
The new free party is run by the crew that spent most of 2009 making Picnic one of Sydney's premier disco nights. Though the bill so far sees them largely keeping with that party's house and disco theme, they've let it be known that 4/4 won't be the only music style on the agenda, as each guest will be given free rein over the music policy for their night. Headliners over the coming weeks include Knife Machine, a DJ spin-off of local band Lost Valentinos, Hoops and Future Classic signees Loin Brothers. Tomorrow's launch party will be headlined by nu disco production duo Canyons. The party gets going at an early 7:30pm and is set to wrap up at midnight.
