Amnesia wraps up with Richie Hawtin

- With October now just two weeks away, the nightclubs of Ibiza enter their bittersweet phase: the closing parties. Naturally, this means a streak of some of the summer's most unruly events—not least at one of the white isle's biggest venues, Amnesia. The final stretch begins next week with Release Yourself, Roger Sanchez's Sunday night party. While the S man does his thing on the terrace, Armin van Buuren will deliver the summer's last Armada party in the main room alongside Markus Schulz and Sander van Doorn. The following Monday, Cocoon will take over both rooms as usual, with head honcho Sven Vath joined by fellow party animals Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Loco Dice and Raresh. That Wednesday will be your last chance to dance beneath a wave of white suds for a while, as Caal Smile headlines a special foam-enhanced edition of La Troya. The next night will see Eric Prydz team up with superstar Paul Van Dyk for this summer's final Cream event. And the grand finale will take place on October 2nd, headlined by Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and Loco Dice, plus a smattering of Amnesia regulars. While the end of summer is usually a somewhat melancholy affair, Amnesia's closing party is sure to be anything but, at least if this video of last year's event is anything to go by:
