- Friction, D-Bridge, Commix, Icicle and more feature on the drum & bass label's 50th release.
To mark their 50th release, Shogun Audio have put together a compilation called Way of the Warrior.
The label was founded in 2004 by UK drum & bass artist Ed Keeley, better known as DJ Friction. Since then it's been a consistent home for artists like Icicle, SpectraSoul, Alex Perez and K Tee. Way of the Warrior features all of these label regulars, plus a number of friends of the family, such as Commix, D-Bridge, Distance and Foreign Concept. All of the tracks on the collection are previously unreleased, except for those that appeared on the vinyl EP version, which came out on Shogun Audio earlier this month. The CD comes in DJ-friendly unmixed form.
