Emika, Dntel, Petre Inspirescu and LV are also billed for the festival in Copenhagen.
The initial lineup has been announced for this year's Strøm festival, taking place in Copenhagen from August 20th through the 26th.
As we said in our review of 2010's event, Strøm manages to book big names in an an intimate, low-cost environment. This year's edition is no exception. Headliners include Richie Hawtin and Major Lazer, Diplo's duo with Switch. More esoteric acts make up the rest of the bill, with highlights like Emika, LV, Dntel, Clouds and Petre Inspirescu (AKA Pedro). A grip of Danish artists will play as well, including Kenton Slash Demon (an offshoot of When Saints Go Machine) and local techno acts Mikkel Metal, Northern Structures and Pattern Repeat (AKA Resoe and Echocord boss Kenneth Christiansen). As usual, the festival will take place at venues around the city, with the biggest events happening at Enghaveparken.
