The Belgian label will team up with the Goethe-Institut Brüssel for a concert and party in February.
Meakusma will partner with the Goethe-Institut Brüssel for a concert and clubnight on February 16th.
The third annual collaboration between the Belgian label and Brussels based school will see two events take place on the same night, with an overall aim to "dissolve boundaries" between genres and emphasize electronic music's viability outside of a club setting.
The concert will take place in the historic Brigittines chapel, with audiovisual performances from Mohn (the collaboration between Kompakt founder Wolfgang Voigt and Jörg Burger) and Thomas Koner, best known for his dub techno work as one half of Porter Ricks. Immediately following the concert, Recyclart will host the club portion of the night, featuring Detroit techno innovator Anthony "Shake" Shakir along with Kassem Mosse and Mix Mup performing live as KM/MM and a DJ set from Barnt. Groupshow, the band featuring Jan Jelinek, Andrew Pekler and Hanno Leichtmann, will also perform with a guest appearance from one-time Can vocalist Damo Suzuki.
