All three veterans will play shows over the June long weekend including Chinese Laundry's 17th Birthday.
Jeff Mills, John Digweed and Chris Liebing will all touch down in Australia to play shows over the Queen's Birthday long weekend this June.
All three will play a role in celebrating Sydney institution Chinese Laundry's 17th birthday on June 8th. The day's festivities begin at The Ivy from midday for one of the brand's garden parties, with Digweed on headline duties and Kerry Wallace and Whitecat supporting. When the gig wraps up at 8 PM, the party shifts down to the Laundry where Mills and Liebing will take it techno until the early hours.
While each of the three jocks will be playing a total of three shows, Sydney is the only place where any of their bookings overlap. Mills will play at Sugar in Adelaide on June 7th, followed by a Fünf and Stable collaborative effort in Melbourne on the 9th at The Bottom End, with an extensive local lineup that features Dave Pham, Mike Callander, The Francis Inferno Orchestra and Phil K.
Digweed will head over to Perth on June 7th, prior to his Sydney appearance, to play a Boomtick gig at Villa Nightclub. He will then visit Melbourne on the 9th for yet another birthday celebration, this time with local promoters Darkbeat partying for their 10th anniversary at Prince Bandroom with Anthony Pappa and a back-to-back set with Rollin Connection and Darius Bassiray.
Liebing will be squeezing two gigs into one day on June 9th, starting with a Smalltown day party at Melbourne's Brown Alley, where he will be joined by Hotflush producer Jimmy Edgar, and ending with a set at Coniston Lane in Brisbane that evening hosted by the Let's Get Minimal crew.
