- Raster-Noton will release the experimental producer's latest full-length in July.
Super.Trigger, the latest album from Frank Bretschneider, will see release this July through Raster-Noton.
Bretschneider has been active since the '80s, releasing countless albums both solo (under his own name and his Komet and A.F. Moebius aliases) and in groups like Signal (with Raster-Noton founders Carsten Nicolai and Olaf Bender). Like many of his Raster-Noton labelmates, he's an ardent explorer of digital sound, and on Super.Trigger, his attention is turned keenly on rhythm. The album grew out of improvisational studio sessions carried out in 2012 and 2013. Raster-Noton describes end result as an "intense inventory" of grooves and rhythmic structures, all put through the filter of Bretschneider's signature sound design.
