- Editions Mego have compiled rare and unreleased tracks from the American artist for September release.
Editions Mego will release S/H, a two-disc compilation of solo material from Steve Hauschildt of Emeralds.
That group—a dreamy, Krautrock-inflected noise trio from Cleveland, Ohio—disbanded earlier this year after releasing more than a dozen albums together since 2006. S/H doesn't so much mark the start of a solo career for Hauschildt as provide an overview of music he's been making all along. As the press release puts it, "S/H is an archival work which delves into the inner workings of both his own music and his contribution to Emeralds' sound." Disc 1 features newer music from 2010 to 2012, while Disc 2 delves into home recordings made from 2005 to 2009. Both contain mostly unreleased music.
