The Digital Mystikz member will spend half of August in the US and Canada.
Coki of Digital Mystikz will cross the pond in August.
The London-based producer and DJ has traditionally been the more aggressive counterpart to Mala's more meditative vibes—early tracks like "Spongebob" helped to define the wobble aesthetic that would become one of dubstep's dominant sounds. He's been keeping it up ever since, releasing the Urban Ethics LP under the Digital Mystikz banner as well as the double-EP Don't Get It Twisted, which shares its name with a new label he started up last year.
This tour will be his first appearance in the US since last summer. It'll start up in Montreal on August 14th for the one Canadian date, before heading on a four-day run through the US that sees him stopping in Chicago, Boston, NYC and Los Angeles. The LA gig is a special one—not only will Coki play alongside Mala as Digital Mystikz, but they're also billed with Bristol dubstep and grime head Kahn.
After a day's break, the tour will resume with another five-day jaunt that will bring him to Las Vegas, Corvallis, Oregon and Detroit, before finishing up in Texas with two dates in Houston and Austin. The latter, taking place on August 25th, will also mark the fifth anniversary of local dubstep institution Mad Classy.
