The Feeling's Mutual tour will bring the two Canadians around North America in the fall.
Ryan Hemsworth and Cyril Hahn will head out on tour together starting on September 21st.
Both producers are Canadians who hit it big off the back of unofficial remixes that went viral. Hemsworth hails from Halifax and currently lives in Toronto. Producing for hip-hop duo Main Attrakionz, making his own tracks and uploading a prolific stream of bootleg edits, it was his remix of Frank Ocean's "Thinking About You" that earned him fame (he appeared in our Breaking Through series around the same time). Since then, Hemsworth's been touring steadily across the world, and he also released a free EP back in May.
Hahn is Swiss-born and lives in Vancouver, and his star turn was a remix of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name"—picked up on by Annie Mac for her BBC Radio show. He recently toured Europe and also signed to PMR, who will release his first original tracks later in the fall.
The tour will feature both artists co-headlining, with support info to be announced at a later date. The first leg, beginning on September 18th in Vancouver, will focus on the West Coast, including Victoria, Kelowna, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles and Seattle (where they'll appear at Decibel Festival). After a few days off, Hemsworth and Hahn hit the East Coast, starting in Montreal on October 3rd and stopping through Toronto, NYC, Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit. Another break will end with a date in DC on the 23rd, and the final leg of the tour will bring the duo to Miami, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Nashville and Austin, before wrapping up in San Francisco on November 11th, where they'll share the bill with Nina Kraviz.
