- Vision will collect one tune from each previously vinyl-only Horo 12-inch on the new CD release later this month.
Samurai Horo has announced a new compilation due out on July 18th.
Horo was founded as an experimental, vinyl-only arm of Presha's Berlin-based drum & bass label in the interest of exploring new (often more atmospheric) possibilities at the 170 BPM tempo and beyond. After last year's Scope compilation saw them enter the CD and digital market for the first time, they're wading in again with Vision, which aims to "map how Horo developed musically for the uninitiated."
The compilation collects one track from each Horo 12-inch—which includes the likes of AnD, ASC, Ena and Fis—along with a digital-only bonus VIP from Clarity. Vision coincides with the launch of the label's new website, and the label also promises a full-length from Ena on Horo later this year.
You can check out clips of all 14 tracks below.
