August at Output includes Röyksopp, Magda, Soul Clap

- The August lineup at Williamsburg’s Output nightclub includes My Nu Leng, Magda, Royksopp, Soul Clap, and John Talabot. The club’s August programming highlights a broad array of international sounds and styles, from abstract techno to electronic funk and UK bass. The month will open with an appearance from dancehall-inflected UK garage upstarts My Nu Leng on Friday, August 1st, with OWSLA newcomer Etnik and Abu Ashley. On Saturday August 2nd, New York techno institution The Bunker will host Detroit hero Magda at their High Kicks and Neck Snaps party, while Mike Huckaby—another Detroit favorite—takes control of the Panther Room. Röyksopp, who recently released their Do It Again EP with Swedish pop diva Robyn, will DJ alongside Justin Miller on Tuesday, August 19th. Soul Clap will go all night on August 22nd in the main room, while Eddie “Flashin” Fowlkes and Scott Grooves hold down the Panther Room.
