- The follow-up to this year's Hardcore Traxx retrospective will land in early 2015.
Strut have announced a second Dance Mania retrospective, Ghetto Madness, which will land in January 2015.
The 15-track compilation picks up where this year's Hardcore Traxx: Dance Mania Records 1986-1997 left off. It contains music from Dance Mania's core group of artists during its mid-'90s ghetto house heyday—DJ Milton, Jammin Gerald, DJ Deeon, Steve Poindexter, DJ Rush, Paul Johnson, Parris Mitchell. Tyree Cooper's '96 club favourite "Nuthin' Wrong" also features.
Dance Mania: Ghetto Madness will be released on double-vinyl, unmixed CD and digital formats. The physical releases features illustrations from James Wilson—the CD version includes a fold-out poster with an illustration by Wilson that portrays the Dance Mania crew as tattoos.
