NYE 2014 clubbing guide: NYC

- There are plenty of party options in New York this New Year's.
- New York City this year offers a refreshingly broad swath of New Year's Eve parties, from high-gloss nightclub affairs to huge warehouse spectacles and more understated loft parties. Highlights include a big-budget Cityfox party helmed by Âme, Mano Le Tough and Apollonia as well as a three-day house and techno marathon at Output, featuring DJ Koze, Wareika, Sven Weisemann, and the US debut of [a:rpia:r]. Also in Williamsburg is an All That Glitters NYE featuring Lee Burridge, Andhim and Matthew Dekay, which continues straight on into New Year's Day, at which point Talon and Claw takes over with sets from Damian Lazarus and company. Another much-anticipated New Year's gig comes courtesy of the always-reliable Bunker New York crew: they'll have Prosumer headlining at Trans Pecos in Ridgewood, Queens (his 10th Bunker appearance) alongside residents Mike Servito and Bryan Kasenic. Mutual Dreaming will return from an eight-month hiatus for an intimate loft party with White Material's Galcher Lustwerk and DJ Richard, as well as Huerco S. Over in Williamsburg, Machinedrum will hold it down for footwork and bass music this year alongside Chicago favorites DJ Spinn and DJ Earl, and Cameo Gallery will host Morgan Geist, as well as Midnight Magic and Pat Mahoney, formerly of LCD Soundsystem. Across the bridge in Manhattan, Disclosure will bring their Wild Life show to New York for a special NYE edition, where they'll have Claude VonStroke, Dusky, Ten Walls, Isaac Tichauer and Kyle Hall in tow. Ed Banger will take over Le Bain, while Duke Dumont holds it down at Slake, and Joseph Capriati will preside over Space Ibiza NY's afterhours affair, with a seven-hour set that begins at 3 AM on New Year's Day.
