- Dropping Gems will issue the Portland producer's second full-length in September.
Natasha Kmeto will release the Inevitable LP on Dropping Gems this September 18th.
Inevitable is the follow-up to Kmeto's 2013 album, Crisis, and follows tours with Lapalux and TV On The Radio—the latter group's Tunde Adebimpe appears on the new record. RA's Andrew Ryce profiled Kmeto last year, describing Inevitable as "a more confident record all-around, with better production values and upfront vocals." The label speaks on the personal tone of the LP's lyrics, which explore "her relationship with her partner and the self-actualization of her own queer identity." Production-wise, Inevitable builds upon her soul and R&B informed take on electronic pop.
