- The Liverpool-based producer has a four-tracker on the way in September.
ASOK's latest EP, Count Zero, will come out via DVS1's Mistress Recordings in September.
This will be the label's sixth release, following on from March's EP trilogy The Blonde / The Brunette / The Redhead. (Read Angus Finlayson's review here.) ASOK, real name Stu Robinson, featured on the first of those EPs with "Purple Saturn Day." He returns next month with four cuts, continuing to explore his synth-soaked take on techno and house. Count Zero will be available digitally and on vinyl.
"These tracks were made at completely different times, different moods, while each track fits a different part of the night," says Robinson. "There is no filler, but also no killer. I'm not into that one massive track and the rest being stuff to flesh out on an EP. This is the EP I'm happiest with to date."
