Spencer Parker to play rare NYC gig

- The Berlin artist will join Sleepy & Boo for Lost In Music at the Paper Box next month.
- Basic NYC will host Spencer Parker at the Paper Box on Saturday, November 7th. Parker is the boss of Work Them Records—a label that boasts records from Radio Slave and Young Male—and a prolific producer in his own right, with a number of releases out via the much-loved Rekids imprint. His most recent effort, No More Silly Club Songs Vol. 1, dropped in July via his own label. The Berlin-based, London-born artist has played the Big Apple only a handful of times in recent years, so his set at Basic NYC's Lost In Music party next month is a special occasion. Basic's resident DJ duo Sleepy & Boo will join the lineup in the main room while The Deep crew holds it down in the adjacent room.
