Blkmarket Membership celebrates ten years this month

- The New York promoters will host Âme, Scuba and Maceo Plex at a trio of gigs that start this weekend.
- Blkmarket Membership will throw tenth birthday events on May 6th, 20th and 27th. The established house and techno promoters will ring in their decade anniversary with a string of warehouse parties in Brooklyn. First up is an extended DJ set from Âme's Kristian Beyer (you can watch his counterpart Frank Wiedemann playing live for an RA Session last week) alongside San Francisco scene veteran Solar. Two weekends after that it's Hotflush boss Scuba backed by local techno hero Anthony Parasole, and residents Taimur and Fahad. Then on the 27th they'll host Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex, who's also scheduled for an extended set. Blkmarket also has a pair of boat cruises lined up for the summer: one with Sven Weisemann in June, and another with tINI in July. Check out Maceo Plex's Essential Mix from last year, below.
