The Salon Des Amateurs resident has locked in five American dates for September.
Lena Willikens will head out on her second American tour of 2016 starting mid-September.
Wilikens is known for the wild DJ style she developed at the Düsseldorf club Salon Des Amateurs, which Aaron Coultate referred to as the "the post-kraut Haçienda" in his 2015 feature. Now, the Cómeme affiliate is back for her second American tour of the year, starting on September 15th at the Philadelphia watering hole The Dolphin. After that it's off to Good Room in Brooklyn where she'll hold down the smaller room with Brooklyn mainstay Willie Burns, while Optimo plays on the main floor.
On the 17th, she's on the bill for night two of Sustain-Release alongside the likes of DJ Sprinkles and Anthony Naples. The next weekend she's out in California. Willikens will make her second appearance at LA's A Club Called Rhonda, this time alongside John Talabot, Roman Flügel and others, then she'll wrap up the trip on Sunday, the 25th in San Francisco with the Honey Soundsystem boys.
