- Remixes From An Island is out next week.
Mark Barrott is releasing a remix EP.
Remixes From An Island follows the International Feel head's two most recent albums, 2014's Sketches From An Island and its follow-up from earlier this year. The label called those records "a quest to sketch a fresh and modern foundation for Balearic music," which continues with the remix EP.
The four-track Remixes From An Island features reworks from Montreal producer CFCF and, notably, Domenique Dumont, a Latvian-French duo who made a splash with their debut on Antinote last year but have remained silent since. Spanish musician Luis Delgado and Early Sounds duo Nu Guinea round out the EP.
Remixes From An Island also comes hot on the heels of La Torre Volumen Uno, a compilation put together by Barrott inspired by his Thursday evening residency in Ibiza.
