Vatican Shadow and Ancient Methods have released a 10-inch record called Bunkerterror.
Bunkerterror follows on from the occasional back-to-back live-and-DJ sets the two producers, real names Dominick Fernow and Michael Wollenhaupt, have been playing over the past year or so. Each pitches in one cut of typically tough industrial techno, with Fernow handling what's called the "New York" side and Wollenhaupt the "Berlin" side. It comes on limited black vinyl and (even more limited) gold wax through Fernow's label Hospital Productions, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
Fernow's other recent efforts include an upcoming three-hour album, Rainbow Mirrow, from his longtime noise alias Prurient, and the Ambient Black Magic LP from Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. Wollenhaupt's last full Ancient Methods release, meanwhile, was the collaboration-heavy The Asking Breath Comes To Each 12-inch, issued on Candela Rising back in June.
