Powder, Interstellar Funk and Tolouse Low Trax are the first three artists revealed for the three-day Victorian event in September.
Melbourne promoter Animals Dancing has announced Bears Gone Bush, a new camping festival to be held this September.
So far Powder, Interstellar Funk and Tolouse Low Trax are billed for the three-day weekender which takes place on a farm in Tallarook, around an hour north of the city, over the AFL Grand Final long weekend, September 28th to 30th. Further lineup announcements, including eight more international names, are to come in the months ahead.
Animals Dancing—the local crew comprising Otologic and Andee Frost—have been running parties around Melbourne for close to ten years, hosting artists like Optimo, Vladmir Ivkovic, Beautiful Swimmers, Pender Street Steppers and Hunee. So far, 2018 has seen them expanding the scope of the operation with the first Australia-wide AD tour taking place back in April with Young Marco, Zaltan and Invisible City playing five shows around the country. Their record label has also seen renewed activity, with recent releases from Lipelis and Za Talent, the new club-focused project from Suzanne Kraft and Jonny Nash.
