- The Dimensions box includes remastered music from the '90s and unreleased tracks from the vaults—including a never-before-released album.
The Vinyl Factory and Plus 8 Records are releasing a box set of early '90s material from Richie Hawtin's F.U.S.E. alias.
The package's centerpiece is a remastered 25th-anniversary edition of Hawtin's 1993 album, Dimension Intrusion. The vinyl version comes with an unreleased archival track from the same sessions, while the digital version has two.
Dimensions also includes a reissue of the Train-Tracs EP from the same year (remixes from this one came out as a Warp 12-inch originally) and another never-released LP called Computer Space, which the label describes as "an important transition leading Hawtin to From Within and Plastikman."
F.U.S.E., or Futuristic Underground Subsonic Experiments, was a "creative tool for the young producer to explore, develop and challenge his craft in a musical territory that had yet to be defined," the label says. The retrospective will be released this spring.
See a teaser for the box set.
