South London is getting a new venue.
Peckham Audio is a new 220-capacity basement space located on Rye Lane near other nightlife spot The CLF Art Cafe, Bussey Building. It comes from the teams behind The Four Quarters and Bermondsey Social Club, as well as promoters LNZRT, who handle bookings at Studio 9294, The Shacklewell Arms, Moth Club and The Waiting Room.
The club opens to the public on Saturday, October 26th, with Khotin, Hollick and Rónán. Boy Harsher, Gigsta, Kris Baha and Lucid Stannard also feature on the upcoming lineups.
A couple other smaller-capacity clubs have opened in the past few months in East London: Colours in Hoxton Square and Werkhaus in Brick Lane. Meanwhile, London Fields basement club Hangar quietly closed in September.
