Opened in 1989, the Ludwigshafen venue is due to shut in October next year.
Loft Club is shutting down in 2020.
Located in Ludwigshafen across the Rhein from Mannheim, the venue opened back in 1989 and acted as an incubator for emerging German acts as well as established stars. The club mentions the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, Richie Hawtin and Sven Väth among its big-name regulars, while Loco Dice, Luciano and Boys Noize all played the club before becoming staples on the international circuit.
The club will close permanently on October 31st, 2020, but will host a full programme throughout the final year ahead. The likes of Rebekah, Dominik Eulberg and Joseph Capriati are all booked for the coming months. There's also an R-Label Group showcase with Kobosil on November 2nd. Expect details of next year's dates to emerge in the coming months.
