The guys over at Breakspoll haven't so much as properly rested (as we have, and you have probably noticed with the lack in updates) over the xmas period and have released details on their 2005 awards.
The 4th annual Breakspoll awards are fast approaching, covering all things break beat, is to host categories including Best Album, Label, Producer, Website (*cough* vote RA *cough*) among others, once again this year. Presenting the awards on the night will be Danny McMillan and Annie Nightingale, whose Radio1 show will feature a live broadcast from the event set to take place on Thursday, February 24.
In other good news for Breakspoll, they have moved the awards party from Egg last year (which went very well mind you – photos here) to London's highly regarded Fabric nightclub with a line-up that is said to be "bigger than anything ever seen".
They are doing an after party at Egg, the following evening and have already confirmed Evil9, Atomic Hooligan & Jay Cunning, Danny McMillan, Son of the Electric Ghost (live) and Hexadecimal in the line-up with others to be confirmed. More details on the actual awards party, and ticket sales are yet to be released but to submit your vote (and make sure you click the confirmation email to validate your vote) hit the Breakspoll website and get busy.
