Octo Octa has published a guide to building a home studio.
The 30-page guide runs through the basic components necessary to make electronic music at home, including mixer, sequencer, drum machine, effects and monitors. The free document—which also covers computers, DAWs and interfaces—focuses on affordable gear with an emphasis on getting different pieces of equipment to work in concert with each other. In addition to a detailed rundown of her own studio, How To Set Up A Home Studio also includes photos and a detailed breakdown of Eris Drew's setup.
