- The local authorities vacated the venue, which currently isn't allowed to open, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
130 people were evicted from a private party at Ibiza super club Amnesia on Sunday morning.
The Guardia Civil and local police were called to the world-renowned venue at around 7 AM following noise complaints from neighbours. Inside, revellers danced without masks and any regard for social distancing regulations, El Pais reports.
Amnesia, which fits up to 5,000 people, isn't currently allowed to open under the latest restrictions imposed by the Balearic Islands government. Only venues with a capacity of less than 300 can open, with a strict 2 AM curfew.
The authorities filed a complaint against the owner of Amnesia, who insisted it was a private party. Last week, the venue issued a statement confirming it would be closed throughout July.
