New open-air venue launches in Helsinki today

- Club DIA will serve as a daytime, mutli-functional space.
- Helsinki has a new waterside venue, Club DIA. Run by the team behind Post Bar, the new daytime, multi-functional space is located in Kyläsaari, the city's industrial area. It opens today, July 16th, at 4 PM local time with sets from Kristiina Männikkö, Linda Lazarov and Jeku. Antti Salonen, Katerina and Jenny Om take the reins on Saturday, starting at the earlier time of 2 PM. "DIA is a daytime haven born out of a need for a safe and well-thought-out regular open-air venue and hangout in Helsinki," the club's website reads. On Fridays and Saturdays, Club DIA will have a full programme of dance events, while community radio station IDA Helsinki will broadcasted on-site during the week. The We Jazz collective will be running a pop-up record shop every Sunday throughout August. Check out pictures of Club DIA.
