Larry Heard has a new Mr. Fingers album on the way.
Following on from 2018's Cerebral Hemispheres LP, Around The Sun Pt 1 will be the deep house pioneer's fifth full-length under his legendary alias. Spanning ten tracks fusing elements of jazz, R&B, dub and house, the album is out on May 2nd through his own Alleviated Records.
Mr. Fingers is Heard's oldest and best-known alias, responsible for classics like "Mystery Of Love" and "Can You Feel It." Before Cerebral Hemispheres, the last Mr. Fingers album was in 1994. More recently, Heard has refocused on Alleviated Records, with reissues of archival material and promises of more to come.
