After launching on New Year's Eve, the space has booked the likes of Tornado Wallace, Chida and Jane Fitz.
DJ Harvey has opened a club on the Indonesian island of Bali.
Launched on New Year's Eve, Klymax Discotheque features a custom-built sound system and is part of beachfront venue Desa Potato Head. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 PM through 4 AM, the space has been five years in the making, according to DJ Harvey, whose extended sets have been a regular occurrence at Desa Potato Head over the years.
Bali-based acts Gero and Rainbow Disco Club affiliate DITA have been named as residents so far. Bookings for the month of January include Manfredas, Carl Craig, Tornado Wallace, Kim Ann Foxman, Courtney Bailey, Archie, CHIDA and Jane Fitz.
In addition to Klymax Discotheque, Desa Potato Head is home to its own club, a radio station, listening bar and record store called Headstream, plus Studio Eksotika, a vinyl library and studio space.
