- Nadia Struiwigh, Nosedrip, Wata Igarashi and more will feature at the August 1st event.
Resident Advisor is hosting a day of panels, workshops and screenings at Dekmantel Festival 2024.
Taking place on Thursday, August 1st, RA's programme will be split between Tolhuistuin and the EYE Film Institute. It will feature production workshops with Nadia Struiwigh and Wata Igarashi; a label workshop with STROOM 〰 founder Nosedrip; and an RA Exchange with Gabrielle Kwarteng.
There's also a Playing Favourites with Palms Trax, a live conversation between Lena Willikens and Vladimir Ivkovic, and a workshop discussing how to get involved in the music industry, hosted by Jasmín and RA's non-profit music industry jobs platform, Doors Open.
Additional highlights from the wider conference programme include an interview with Johnny Jewel, a screening of Spiral Tribe documentary Free Party: A Folk History, a panel on creating visuals for electronic music and an open studio seminar with Aurora Halal. These will take place across Het HEM (27th and 28th July) and the EYE Film Institute (August 1st).
The tenth edition of Dekmantel will run from July 26th through August 4th. More than 200 artists have already been announced, including Bicep, Luke Slater, Aurora Halal, Avalon Emerson and Mala, who will go back-to-back with James Blake.
