- Âme, Trickski and Matthias Tanzmann play club nights in Oz as part of the Goethe-Institut's DJ Exchange programme. Organised by German cultural exchange office the Goethe-Institut, the DJ Exchange nights aim to connect German DJs and producers with their Australian counterparts as well as give local punters the chance to sample some of the sounds currently ruling German dancefloors. The three touring artists reflect the current resurgence in deep house in Germany: Âme and Trickski from hot Berlin stables Innervisions and Sonar Kollektiv as well as Moon Harbour head honcho Matthias Tanzmann. The DJ Exchange nights will happen at the Goethe Lounge in Woollahra, Sydney in September and October. DJs, producers, fans and the curious can meet the artists, check them out behind the decks, and practice their Deutsch. Best of all, the nights won't cost you a cent. Âme, Trickski and Matthias Tanzmann are also playing individual dates at Future Classic, Sounds, Mad Racket, Minimal Fuss and Pretty Simple nights in Sydney and Melbourne.
