- Drum n bass super-producer Logistics drops his second full-lengther Reality Checkpoint late next month.
Following high-profile artist albums from Hospital labelmates High Contrast (Tough Guys Don’t Dance) and his own older brother Nu:Tone (Back of Beyond) last year, drum n bass super-producer Logistics is set to drop his second full-length late next month.
Reality Checkpoint is the follow up to Logistics' debut Now More Than Ever from 2006, which spread 24 tracks across four records and two discs, evenly dividing Logistics’ soulful and techy sides.
At a standard 15 tracks, Checkpoint finds room for both to sit side-by-side: album opener ‘Daybreak Sequence’ is a pumping sci-fi soundscape, while nearest neighbor ‘Lullaby’ draws its laidback vibe from nature sounds and music box tinkling.
Checkpoint tracks ‘Cold World’ and ‘Glitch’ appeared on Logistics’ Wide Lens EP from last November, and Hospital Records’ founder London Elektricity has also been regularly featuring new Logistics material on the label’s podcast.
