- The label will release its celebratory compilation early next month.
Playhouse will once again placate the non-vinyl fans of the label by providing a sampling of the imprint's highlights early next month with another edition in their Famous When Dead series.
The sixth entry is a double disc affair, with the first being devoted to the usual previously vinyl-only tracks like Roman Flügel's "Neues Testament," Todd Terje's Turkatech take on Simon Baker's "Plastik," the song that isn't "Everybody's Talkin'" from My My's recent 12-inch and Prosumer's 2005 track "The Craze."
The second disc of the package comes in the form of a mix from label owner Heiko Schäfer AKA Heiko M/S/O. No tracklisting is yet available, but the press notes promise "partially alternate tracks by the artists on this compilation" which honestly leaves us scratching our heads even more. That said, if the results are anything like what the label has been offering up lately, listeners won't have much to worry about at all.
