- A Spanish based Argentinean by the name of Baunder is behind this next release on Segment Records, and he delivers two Progressive cuts here, with the a-side seeing him get some help from his good friend Nicolas.
Big Bang is that track on the a-side, and the result is a pretty smooth deep progressive production that flow quite nicely thanks to some atmospheric hums in the background and a smooth as silk baseline. Although quite nice, the track really lacks a cutting edge for me.
Homesick on the flip takes a completely different shape, thanks to some hard hitting break beats, and a very innovative stabbing baseline. The track shows some melodic aspects, when one feels that a dirty approach would have been preferred due to the nice drum patterns. The driving baseline used in the 2nd half of the track does something to help the matter though.
An interesting release that just falls short of being a very solid release.
