"Death, Taxes & Hanger" starts out as a fluttery ambient jungle cut—think Paradox's side project Alaska—full of airy melodies and textures as light as meringue. But just when you think you've got your head around it, Aquarian cuts the against the grain with a massive techstep bassline, turning it into a Ed Rush-style whopper before the track reduces back down the thick atmospherics it began with. It's drum & bass designed to shock techno dance floors, and that breakdown deserves at least one rewind.
